Job summary

Mindteck is seeking an experienced SWIFT Application & Interface Test Lead / Manager with 5+ years in IT project leadership and test management. The role covers ISO 20022 programs, SWIFT enhancements, interfaces, and BAU changes across complex environments.

You will drive test planning, execution, defect management, and audit-ready documentation, coordinating with project teams and vendors to ensure quality milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Experience leading test management for ISO 20022 programs and SWIFT-related projects.
• SWIFT FIN and ISO 20022 messaging knowledge required.
• Experience with test planning, defect management, and audit evidence.
• Testing certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the application point of contact and coordinator for ISO 20022 programs and SWIFT-related projects.
• Lead end-to-end testing for SWIFT applications, interfaces, and BAU changes.
• Prepare and consolidate test strategies, plans, scenarios and test cases.
• Maintain a master inventory of test scenarios and test cases across projects.
• Develop and maintain RTMs to ensure traceability from BRDs to test cases.
• Coordinate testing with business, technology, and project teams.
• Track progress, generate status reports and present testing metrics.
• Manage incident and defect lifecycle and coordinate with stakeholders for timely closure.
• Provide BAU support for critical SWIFT services and assist in maintaining service continuity.

We are seeking an experienced SWIFT Application & Interface Test Lead / Manager with 5+ years of IT industry experience in project leadership and test management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating testing activities across ISO 20022 programs, SWIFT application enhancements, projects, and Business-as-Usual (BAU) changes.

The role requires strong knowledge of SWIFT FIN and ISO 20022 messaging, SWIFT applications, transaction screening solutions, and messaging interfaces. The candidate will lead test planning and execution, manage defects, monitor testing progress, and ensure compliance with quality standards and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the application point of contact and coordinator for ISO 20022 programs, SWIFT-related enhancements, and other projects.

Manage end-to-end testing activities for SWIFT applications, interfaces, project implementations, enhancements, and BAU changes.

Prepare, review, and consolidate test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

Maintain a master inventory of test scenarios and test cases across multiple projects and enhancements.

Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices (RTM), ensuring traceability from Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) to test cases.

Coordinate SWIFT-related testing activities across business, technology, and project teams.

Track testing progress, generate status reports, and present testing updates and metrics for multiple projects using JIRA and other relevant tools.

Manage the incident and defect lifecycle, organize defect resolution meetings, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely closure.

Support testing activities for SWIFT applications, messaging interfaces, and transaction screening solutions.

Perform testing for project implementations and production changes during non-operating hours, when required.

Provide timely testing documentation, evidence, and other artifacts to support internal and external audits.

Provide BAU support for critical SWIFT services and assist in maintaining service continuity.

Work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of testing milestones.

Technical Skills and Requirements

Strong understanding of SWIFT FIN and ISO 20022 messaging standards.

Hands-on experience supporting SWIFT applications, including:

SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA)

SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG)

SWIFTNet Link (SNL)

Alliance Web Platform (AWP)

Experience with transaction screening solutions.

Good knowledge of messaging and system integration interfaces, including IBM MQ, SFTP, APIs, and JMS.

Proficiency in JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and progress reporting.

Experience with GitHub or similar configuration and version control tools.

Strong understanding of test management methodologies, test execution, defect management, and quality assurance processes.

Experience in maintaining test documentation, traceability matrices, and audit evidence.

Experience and Qualifications

Around 5+ years of IT industry experience, particularly in project leadership and test management.

Relevant experience in SWIFT application testing, interface testing, ISO 20022 implementations, and enhancements.

Testing or Quality Assurance certifications are preferred.

Strong coordination, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Willingness to support critical BAU services and perform testing during non-operating hours when required.
