Job summary

SGX Group is seeking a Senior Vice President of Cloud Architecture to shape SGX’s cloud strategy, governance, and platform engineering. This leader will drive secure, scalable cloud platforms across regulated environments and oversee architected transformations in a high-impact role.

Reporting within the Cloud Centre of Excellence, the role ensures alignment with risk, security, and business objectives while partnering with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide cloud capabilities and long-term

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering or enterprise technology.
• Proven track record establishing engineering standards and governance across large, regulated environments.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms and architecture patterns for enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Establish cloud architecture principles, standards and governance across public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Define the cloud strategy, roadmap and adoption framework aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Shape platform engineering for self-service and developer experience with standardisation.
• Set governance processes ensuring regulatory, security and resilience requirements are met.
• Partner with security to define cloud security patterns and zero-trust principles.
• Lead infrastructure modernisation across containers and cloud-native platforms.
• Define cost management, investment governance, and value realisation patterns.
• Set enterprise standards for cloud-native services, IaC and observability.
• Govern major tech initiatives through architecture reviews and design assurance.
• Define resilience, availability, DR and business continuity patterns.
• Develop architecture capability and leadership across the enterprise.
• Define AI-native and cloud innovation approaches within a regulated environment.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, risk and operations to translate strategy into scalable solutions.
