Job summary

DLABS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Green Building Consultant to guide clients toward sustainable building practices and achieve green certifications such as LEED.

You will evaluate designs for energy efficiency, recommend eco-friendly materials, and collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate green principles across projects. The role involves client consultation, certification guidance, energy modeling, and staying current with evolving green regulations.

Qualifications

• Post-diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
• Professional certification such as LEED AP/WELL AP/GMAP/GMAAP is highly desirable.
• At least 2 years of working experience in green building consulting or related roles.
• In-depth knowledge of green building certifications, energy modelling software, and sustainable construction materials.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand sustainability goals and advise on green practices.
• Certification Guidance: Help clients obtain green building certifications like LEED or regional equivalents and manage the certification process.
• Energy Efficiency: Evaluate designs and recommend energy-saving solutions for HVAC, lighting, insulation, and renewables.
• Sustainable Materials: Research and suggest eco-friendly materials and construction methods meeting environmental standards.
• Environmental Assessments: Conduct site assessments addressing water conservation and sustainable landscaping.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on green regulations and ensure projects meet environmental requirements.
• Education & Training: Lead workshops to raise awareness of green building benefits and practices.
