Job summary

Bureau Veritas Singapore Pte Ltd invites you to join as a Sustainability Intern, supporting ESG and sustainability projects including GHG verification, reporting, and supply chain initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in sustainability consulting, data analysis, and project delivery within a global testing, inspection, and certification leader.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Strong command of written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of GHG advisory, verification, and validation projects.
• Assist in Sustainability Reporting advisory and assurance engagements, including data collection and analysis.
• Participate in Supply Chain Sustainability projects, supporting assessments, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to IFRS-related tools and methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Provide support for business development and marketing initiatives.

Job Overview:

As a Sustainability Intern, you will support ESG and sustainability projects, including GHG verification, sustainability reporting, supply chain sustainability initiatives, and research activities. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in sustainability consulting, data analysis, and project delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of GHG advisory, verification, and validation projects in accordance with relevant sustainability and climate-related standards.
• Assist in Sustainability Reporting advisory and assurance engagements, including data collection, analysis, and documentation.
• Participate in Supply Chain Sustainability and Management projects, supporting assessments, reporting, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of IFRS-related tools and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and client service delivery.
• Provide support for business development and marketing initiatives, including proposal preparation, market research, and promotional activities.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the reporting manager

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related disciplines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong command of written and spoken English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge in sustainability, ESG, climate-related services, and assurance activities.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (5-day work week).
