Job summary

sggovterp seeks a civil/structural engineering professional to lead sustainability-related R&I projects in collaboration with IHLs and industry partners. You will help improve operations and shape policy-driven initiatives within JTC’s Sustainability Department.

The role requires proactive, independent work across fast-paced environments with strong analytical and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders and drive impactful sustainability outcomes.

Qualifications

• Background in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Strong interest in sustainability and keeping up with new developments in the field.
• Good team player, proactive, able to work independently and with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Bonus for BCA Singapore Green Mark certification or experience with sustainability initiatives or low-carbon tech (e.g., CCUS).

Responsibilities

• Scope and manage sustainability-related research and innovation projects with IHLs and industry partners to enhance operations and push aspirational areas.
• Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives led by other divisions across JTC’s portfolio.
• Interface and liaise for inter-agency collaborations and studies on sustainability and climate topics.
