Job summary

Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) invites applications for a Research Engineer/Fellow focused on sustainability innovation. The role involves leading industry-collaborative projects that advance carbon accounting, renewable energy, and circular economy solutions within SIT’s Innovation-as-a-Service CSI.

You will work with faculty, industry partners, and students to deliver practical, commercially viable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant industry experience in sustainability innovation and ESG integration.
• Strong knowledge of environmental technologies, lifecycle assessment, and sustainable business practices.
• Experience with grant writing and managing research projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage sustainability-focused research projects, including carbon accounting, renewable energy, and circular economy initiatives.
• Collaborate with industry partners to frame projects, identify needs, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Oversee project planning, execution, budgets, milestones, and reporting to SIT and stakeholders.
