Job summary

The National University Health System Pte. Ltd. seeks an Operating Theatre Support Technician to ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized OT environment. You will assist with prepping the operating room, equipment, and supplies for each case, and support the surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities include patient transfer, positioning, equipment checks, and routine housekeeping of OT areas, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and adherence to protocols.

Qualifications

• WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Operating Theatre) or proven OT support experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Check suction and diathermy machines for cleanliness and operation.
• Prepare operating room and accessories for scheduled cases.
• Assist in patient transfer and positioning in OT.
• Support surgical team during procedures as needed.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of OT areas and inventory.
• Clean, prepare, and maintain OT lights and equipment.
