ST Engineering Land MRO & Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Material Planner to manage procurement-driven planning and inventory health across projects. You will analyze consumption trends, lead times and EUC requirements, and develop accurate forecasts to align with service levels.
You will collaborate with logistics, procurement, engineering, and operations, run monthly stock health reviews, and use Power BI to deliver actionable insights. Some international work may be required.
Job Description:
Material planning: performing statistical analysis based on past consumption, lead time, value of material, EUC (Estimated Unit Cost) requirements and provide recommendation to support operations.
Periodic review of inventory level to trigger replenishment up to level to support operations materials requirements based on provisioning model in considerations of Lead time, Consumption, EUC Requirements, Value of Material, MOQ (Minimum Order Quantities), EOQ (Economic Order Quantities).
Establish monthly engagement with respective stakeholders to review and rundown legacy stock and stock obsolescence.
Work closely with project team to develop projections to ensure project requirements and schedule, as well as adjust projection according to changes in the project deliverables/ schedules.
Communicate with respective stakeholder on SNCA (Stock Not Consumed After allocation) and expired materials in order to undertake the correct resolution to these stocks.
Advanced Material Planning and Forecasting
Utilize statistical analysis, consumption trends, EUC, and lead time data to develop accurate material forecasts.
Apply provisioning models to align material readiness with dynamic operational needs and service-level agreements.
Leverage Power BI dashboards for real-time visibility and to recommend proactive material replenishment actions.
Inventory Lifecycle Management
Perform periodic stock reviews using analytics tools to trigger replenishment, prevent overstocking, and optimize working capital.
Analyze inventory value, MOQs, EOQs, and shelf-life parameters to maintain optimal inventory health.
Identify and reduce legacy and obsolete inventory through cross-department engagement and structured rundown planning.
Project-Based Material Alignment
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to translate project milestones into detailed materials projections.
Continuously update material plans based on evolving project schedules and scope changes.
Track variances between forecast and actual usage, driving timely resolution of material shortfalls.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Facilitate monthly stock health review meetings with stakeholders from logistics, procurement, engineering, and operations.
Proactively engage stakeholders to resolve SNCA (Stock Not Consumed After allocation) and expired material issues through coordinated action plans.
Report key metrics and insights using Power BI visualizations to support executive-level reviews and audit readiness.
Data Analytics and Reporting
DeveLifecycle Managementlop and maintain automated dashboards to monitor material consumption trends, usage patterns, and supply performance.
Utilize Power BI for predictive analytics to flag potential material risks and to support continuous improvement in planning accuracy.
Job Requirements:
Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/ Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Must have good communication, interpersonal skills and be pro-active
Experience with databases and spreadsheets and SAP S4/ Hana
Ability to create digital reports.
Ability to handle and managing international business, with minimal travel required.
