Job summary

Lam Research seeks an experienced supply chain professional to lead Finished Goods delivery for the MajorModule Remote Factory in Singapore. You will coordinate with Strategy Commodity Managers and Master Schedulers to align forecasting, planning and KPI achievement with the Annual Operating Plan.

You will optimize end-to-end delivery, monitor supplier performance, resolve escalations, and drive cross-functional recovery plans while maintaining cost controls and on-time material availability for

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience in Supply Chain operation & planning management
  • Excellent knowledge of logistics program management including previous experience working with supply chain and a thorough understanding of best practices.
  • SAP knowledge is a MUST
  • Highly competent communicator who can successfully interact with crossfunctional teams, sponsors, management and business partners
  • Proven ability to identify project objectives and project approach to achieve business needs
  • Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Access, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Some travel will be required (15% - 20%)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for both strategic and tactical management of Finished Goods delivery from end to end
  • Define and monitor supplier performance indexes
  • Review/approve expedite fees in support of delivery requirements
  • Be the single point of contact for escalation point for delivery issues/ misses
  • Lead cross-functional teams / manage task force activities in support of critical supplier recovery and support plans
  • Work closely with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex problems to ensure on time delivery of critical material to support customers and company requirements.
  • Manage merge in transit process and execute to supply chain strategies(material, inventory, capacity, recovery and etc)
  • Daily/weekly updates to Lam stakeholders on delivery status from RemoteFactories
  • Monitor product cost preventing negative PPV and supporting cost reduction efforts
  • Ensure supply chain and material readiness to support transition requirements(product and factory transitions)
  • Process improvement to deploy & develop best known methods related to procurement, inventory control (e.g., JIT, Kanban, min/max) & manufacturing strategies
  • Take on ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Immediate Supervisor

The impact you\u2019ll make

This position is an individual contributor that plays a vital role within the MajorModule Remote Factory with core responsibility to get the Finished Goods delivered as per plan. Incumbent must work very closely with Strategy Commodity Managers and Master Schedulers for Major Module products on the forecasting and planning process to ensure internal KPI, goals and projects are accomplished and aligned with business objectives and Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Portfolio also includes developing integrated project plans for business process improvement, including implementation schedule, end user coordination and all necessary information requirements of a project and/or Finished Goods related initiatives.

Virtual Flex you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
