Job summary

Versuni Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Supplier Quality professional to lead supplier QA activities for key components and finished goods. You will drive QC processes, monitor supplier performance, and implement continuous improvements across multi-tier supply chains.

You will collaborate with Design, I+D and Operations to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements, lead SCAR actions, and elevate supplier capability and quality systems globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering with minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in supplier quality, product quality, or process engineering; Electrical/Mechanical knowledge preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (QFD, CtQ, FMEA, SPC, APQP, MSA, Control Plans, Lean).
• Auditing skills and cross-functional collaboration are important.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA at supplier processes for components and Finished Goods; manage N‑tier supplier oversight.
• Ensure supplier compliance to product/process specs and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with I&D and Operations to drive quality, reliability and durability improvements.

About The Role

You will be a part of a highly innovative design team who continue to manage supplier qualification process, support part release, monitors supplier quality performance and drives supplier quality improvements.

The Impact You’ll Make

• Oversee and Drive Quality Assurance at allocated suppliers’ processes related to supplier manufacturing of key components and/or Finished Goods, N-tier management, use of statistics in the sense continuous Improvement and availability of adequate supplier Organization to drive sustainable improvements towards supplier independency and competence.
• Enable and ensure supplier compliance to Product/Process specification and relevant regulatory requirements
• Co work and reach out beyond boundary i.e I&D and Operations personnel to proactively engineering Quality, Reliability and Durability.
• Participate Product Development Process to ensure raw materials / components / products at supplier(s) are released from supplier(s) to Versuni according to the agreed requirements.
• Drive supplier capability improvement via Gap Analysis. Identify gaps between required and available supplier capability and mitigate risk with supplier.
• Provide Quality related inputs to Quality agreements, project books (Q-targets, etc), sourcing grid etc.
• Supplier Oversight Performance monitoring(SOM) true data collection, analysis and continuous Improvement on FPY, QA, PSI, CTX data.
• 8.Initiate and follow up on effective SCAR closure, SCAR overview on assigned suppliers.
• Escalate unresolved non compliances of regulatory, risks and issues to relevant Versuni Team for support and resolution.
• Support additions/deletions/changes to the status of suppliers on the Approved Supplier List.
• Drive Quality awareness both internally in the organization and externally with OEM/ODM suppliers

The Skills And Knowledge You’ll Bring

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering with minimum 4-6 yrs of relevant experience in domestic appliances for in Supplier Quality, Product Quality or Process Engineering preferably with Electrical/Mechanical knowledge. Experience in Small Domestic appliances or related parts manufacturing is a plus.
• Good understanding of statistical methods, quality tools and methodologies (QFD, CtQ flow down, DfSS, SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plan and Lean) - GB or BB certification will be an advantage.
• Self motivated, action oriented, persistent towards accomplishing tasks and drives for success, Sense of urgency and owner’s mindset
• Ability to communicate to all levels. Both oral and written, in English and local language (e.g. Mandarin in China)
• Cross functional skills, awareness of business requirements, good team player
• Auditing Skills preferred to posses Lead Auditor certification
• Possesses expertise in quality systems, methodologies, tool and techniques at practitioner level
• Works in a team to optimize, implement and troubleshoot the effectiveness of way of working
• Creates a productive network with internal customers/stakeholders and suppliers
• Strong analytical problem solver with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment while working independently to resolve supplier quality issues
