Job summary

AAC Technologies in Singapore is seeking a quality and test engineer focused on semiconductor devices. You will develop test solutions for MEMS/IC devices, ensure conformity to design specs and quality standards, and analyze yield/test data to identify trends and troubleshoot issues.

You will collaborate with design, process, and product teams to resolve test-related challenges, stay updated on probe test technologies, and prepare detailed reports for cross-functional review.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test solutions for semiconductor devices.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards through testing of MEMS/IC devices.
• Analyze and interpret yield & test data, identify trends, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with design, process, and product engineering teams to resolve test-related challenges.
• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in probe test technologies.
• Prepare detailed test reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Identify potential abnormal risks in the system with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 & IATF 16949
• Conduct risk identification and closed-loop management using tools such as the five major quality tools, QC 7 tools, 8D, 5M1E, 5W2H, etc.

Requirement

• Strong communication skills, capable of conveying company requirements accurately and clearly, driving suppliers toward effective problem closure, and facilitating rapid alignment.
• Strong anomaly handling skills — able to respond quickly to customers or factories for issue containment, minimizing abnormal risks and impacts;
• Strong adherence to principles with high execution capability; strictly enforcing product standards and relevant company requirements;
• Problem analysis and resolution skills, able to quickly assess problem risks and organize cross-functional supplier analysis and resolution;
• Report writing skills for items such as 8D/CAR/FMEA, with rigorous logical thinking in presenting reports.
• Strong Mandarin proficiency to effectively communicate and coordinate with China Suppliers and internal stakeholders;
• Ability to lead resolution and closed-loop management of quality issues;
• Strong continuous learning ability, capable of rapidly interpreting and learning new product requirements and driving supplier management thereof;
• Team collaboration capability, able to lever internal and supplier resources jointly to enhance product quality stability.
