Job summary

Applied Materials Singapore is seeking a supplier quality professional to develop and manage suppliers for anodization, electropolishing, plating, cleaning and coating processes. You will lead quality issue resolution, drive root-cause analysis, and conduct supplier audits while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define process windows and specs.

The role requires 3–5 years in semiconductor, a degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or materials science, and excellent communication

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years experience in semiconductor industry.
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science.
  • Experience with supplier quality management is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify and manage suppliers for anodization, electropolishing, plating, cleaning, coating processes.
  • Lead quality problem resolutions, troubleshooting and incident management, drive root cause, corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
  • Lead supplier technical audit process, evaluate supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.
  • Communicate technical requirement and expectation effectively to suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with supplier to design and perform DOEs to define process windows, characterize new requirements, and evaluate chemistries, technologies.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret test data to establish process specifications.
  • Generate comprehensive technical reports for both internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, qualify and manage suppliers for anodization, electropolishing, plating, cleaning, coating processes.

Functional Knowledge
  • Demonstrate strong conceptual and practical expertise in plating/anodizing/electropolishing/ cleaning/ coating.
  • Experience in plating/anodizing/electropolishing/ cleaning/ coating processes will be advantageous.
  • Experience in supplier quality management will be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
