Responsibilities

• Validate channel requirements and resolve playlist quality defects.
• Screen sports content (football, Formula 1, basketball, tennis) and ensure quality.
• Oversee transmission and ingest workflows and housekeeping.
• Monitor equipment and ensure minimal downtime; perform QC checks.
• Lead shift planning, roster creation, and deadline adherence.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams for clear requirements.
• Prepare logs and reports on transmission activities.

Job description

Lead the transmission and ingest operations, ensuring seamless delivery and management of content workflows. The role involves supervising a team, coordinating closely with clients, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible for validating channel requirements, promptly identifying and resolving issues such as playlist deviations and content quality defects, and closely monitoring for any flaws to prevent on-air interference or outages.
• Must be capable of screening the sports content, especially football, Formula One, Basketball, Tennis, etc. & should have a strong understanding of sports content.
• Strong knowledge of audio layout, tracks & Profile, etc.
• Manage transmission and ingest workflows, and housekeeping, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of content.
• Monitor equipment and systems, ensure minimal downtime and swift resolution of technical issues, and Implement quality control checks to uphold service standards
• In Case of any technical issues on the transmission chain act promptly and take appropriate action.
• Assign tasks and create a roster accordingly, monitor team performance and shift-related issues, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Conduct regular training sessions to upskill team members and maintain high-performance levels.
• Follow SOPs and act as the primary liaison between clients, operations, Scheduling, Traffic, and Graphics, Presentation and feed booking team to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• Address client inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally, and build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive logs and reports on transmission and ingest activities.
• Document workflows, shift reports, issues, and resolutions for future reference and process improvement.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize transmission and ingest operations.
