Job summary

Mediacorp Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Operations Engineer to join the Transmission Media Delivery team. You will help provision media delivery links and ensure broadcast-quality audio/video feeds from event sites to designated locations.

You will deploy a range of technologies, monitor performance, perform regular equipment maintenance, and keep documentation up to date. The role requires flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and irregular hours, with safety and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or IT.
3+ years of relevant experience welcomed if no degree.
Knowledge of digital transmission (COFDM, MIMO).
IT networking knowledge.
Linux/Windows OS knowledge.
Basic cybersecurity knowledge.
Basic RF knowledge advantageous.
Team player and able to work independently.
Willing to perform irregular hours duties.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provision media delivery links to deliver audio/video feeds.
Deploy technologies including cellular bonding, fiber, microwave, IP streaming, Mesh links.
Set up equipment at outdoor venues ensuring power and safety compliance.
Liaise with agencies and building owners for approvals.
Perform standby duty for VIP events and after-hours work.
Maintain delivery equipment and update related documentation.
Monitor feed quality and ensure broadcast readiness.
Adhere to workplace safety and health norms.
