Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for full set of accounts for SMEs clients.
Supervise junior team members and provide assistance to the Manager to ensure that the required filings and submissions are done within the stipulated timeline (Supervisor/AM)
Work with the Manager in identifying areas where SOP and the system can be enhanced to reduce manual work and improve productivity.
Preparation of tax computations, GST computations, accounting treatment and preparation of unaudited financial statements in compliance with relevant governing law.
Work with external auditors, resolving any accounting or tax related issues for portfolio of clients.
Communicate with clients independently and provide assistance to juniors in handling complex clients.
Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management.
Requirements
Degree in relevant field, ongoing ACCA, ACCA graduates or equivalent
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
Analytical with good inter-personal skills and enjoys challenges
Good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLookup and Pivot Table) advantageous
Proficient in XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) advantageous
Proficient in accounting software (MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero etc.) advantageous
Customer service oriented mindset
Able to multi-task in a fast moving environment
Able to focus on timeline and target
