Job summary

Skyworks is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to manage reliability test production activities, supervise staff, and drive efficient operations in Singapore. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, globally collaborative environment, with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

You will develop manufacturing strategies, lead Lean and Six Sigma projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve processes and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering or supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day reliability test production activities, including scheduling, workflows, capacity planning, and quality yield.
• Supervise staff to ensure efficient production operations and optimal performance.

Job Description

• Manage day-to-day reliability test production activities, including scheduling, workflows, capacity planning but not limited to cost rate, production variance, work-in-progress inventory and its' accuracy, quality yield, capacity and etc.
• Ensure efficient production operations by supervising staff, providing guidance, and fostering optimal performance.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations and timely delivery of products.
• Lead and participate in process improvement projects, utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance product quality.
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and equipment, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, and standards.
• Knowledge in data visualization tool such as power BI or tableau is preferable.
