Job summary

SGB ENGINEERING & TRADING PTE. LTD. is actively seeking a site signaling and electrical technician to support open sunlight MRT depots and tunneling projects in Singapore. The candidate will work day or night per the duty roster and be onsite by 7:45am for toolbox meetings.

Requirements include at least 4 years of local or overseas experience in signaling, electrical works, and MOS. Responsibilities include following engineers, preparing MOS, and ensuring safety and timely deliveries on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years local or overseas coms, signaling and electrical experience required.
• Must be able to work day or night per duty roster.
• Proven ability to follow site engineers and perform signaling and electrical works.

Responsibilities

• Follow signaling works and electrical works under supervision.
• Assist site engineers during site inspections.
• Prepare risk assessments as a team and brief workers on MOS.
• Prepare method statements and brief to workers.
• Ensure MOS compliance during installation of signaling, coms and electrical works.
• Ensure timely delivery to sites and avoid schedule delays.
• Maintain tools, equipment and worker safety on site.
• Report progress to Site Engineers regularly.
• Coordinate material orders and verify received quantities.

Job description

• 1. Able to work and supervised signaling at open sunlight like wise MRT new and old depots
• 2. Also able to work in the tunneling projects
• 3. Able to work day or night follow duty roaster.
• 4. 7.45am need to be at workplace to attend toolbox meeting 7.50am
• 5. Follow site engineers to perform signaling works and electrical works
• 6. Follow main-con site during site inspections
• 7. Prepare RA as a team and brief workers to follow up accordingly
• 8. prepare Method of statements and brief to workers
• 9. Ensure workers follow MOS during installation coms, signaling and electrical works at site
• 10. Ensure delivery site on time make sure not delay schedules
• 11. Class 3 driving an advantages
• 12. Order materials on times and make sure received ordered qty and maintain quality
• 13. ensure take care tools and equipment and workers safety
• 14. Report to Site Engineers time to time working progress
• 15. Minimum 4 years local or overseas coms, signaling and electrical experience required
