Job summary

LA PURE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to support the Operations Manager in daily running, supervise cleaning staff, and ensure designated areas are kept clean and hygienic for the public.

You will assist with training, monitor health and safety compliance, report any hazards, and help maintain smooth workflow with weekend and public holiday shifts. The role requires standing for long periods, a teamwork mindset, and practical problem-solving to uphold cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisting operations and supervising staff.
• Ability to supervise cleaning staff, train, instruct and manage workflow.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods and maintain hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in daily running and management.
• Supervise Cleaning Staff, including training, instruction, and workflow management.
• Undertake cleaning of designated areas to keep them clean and hygienic for the public.
• Ensure staff work aligns with health and safety requirements.
• Perform cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, and bin emptying.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and staff take precautions.
• Daily report to line manager of any dangerous situations or health and safety issues.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible in assisting the Operations Manager in daily running and management;
• To supervise the activities carried out by the Cleaning Staff which will include training, instructing and managing work flow;
• To undertake, as a part of the team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept clean and hygienic for the public;
• To ensure all work carried out by the Cleaning Staff is on par with the upholding requirement; completed with due observation to the appropriate Health & Safety requirements;
• Cleaning, sweeping and vacuuming, emptying of bins;
• To ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and the staff is taking extra precautions in causing anything that might endanger the post holder or others;
• Daily report to the line manager, or person in authority any dangerous situation in the workplace or any perceived shortcomings in health and safety regulations.

Requirement

• Flexible for weekend & PH day shift
• Most time would be standing for operation assistance
