Job summary

BB STUDIO PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Operations Assistant to support daily operations and oversee cleaning staff.

The role involves supervising training, coordinating workflows, and maintaining a clean, hygienic environment for the public. The candidate should be flexible for weekend and public holiday shifts, capable of standing for long periods, and demonstrate teamwork and problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges.

Qualifications

• Flexible for weekend & PH day shift.
• Most time would be standing for operation assistance.
• Teamwork & problem-solving orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in daily running and management.
• Supervise the activities carried out by the Cleaning Staff including training, instructing and managing workflow.
• Undertake cleaning of designated areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene for the public.
• Ensure all work by Cleaning Staff meets upholding requirements with due observation to Health & Safety regulations.
• Perform cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, and emptying of bins.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and staff take extra precautions to avoid hazards.
• Daily report to the line manager or authority of any dangerous situations or health & safety shortcomings.

Job description

Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible in assisting the Operations Manager in daily running and management;
• 2. To supervise the activities carried out by the Cleaning Staff which will include training, instructing and managing work flow;
• 3. To undertake, as a part of the team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept clean and hygienic for the public;
• 4. To ensure all work carried out by the Cleaning Staff is on par with the upholding requirement; completed with due observation to the appropriate Health & Safety requirements;
• 5. Cleaning, sweeping and vacuuming, emptying of bins;
• 6. To ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and the staff is taking extra precautions in causing anything that might endanger the post holder or others;
• 7. Daily report to the line manager, or person in authority any dangerous situation in the workplace or any perceived shortcomings in health and safety regulations.
