Qualifications

• Must be a Polytechnic student pursuing a diploma.
• Must have the legal right to work in Singapore.
• Available for a full-time internship from March to August.
• Desire and passion to learn new skills in broadcast media production.
• Team player who can work independently and collaboratively with colleagues from different teams.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and pick up new knowledge/skills quickly.
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally.
• Ability to work under pressure in live television broadcast environment.
• Meticulous with a keen eye for details.
• Flexibility in working shift hours.
• Completion of a studio operations/management or filming module would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up studio ancillary equipment for daily live TV news production.
• Perform live TV audio mixing using professional broadcast sound mixer.
• Operate up to 8 robotic cameras and a Jib.
• Work with Studio Directors to set up camera shots and angles.
• Set up anchors, correspondents, reporters and guests with microphones and in-ear-monitors before going on-air.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance of studio equipment.
• Learn floor managing by observing Studio Directors and coordinating with talents and control room.
• Provide technical production support to News Editorial and Operations teams.
• Participate in CNBC outdoor broadcast coverage and events as requested.
