Job summary

Versant Media, LLC in Singapore is seeking a Digital News Intern for CNBC International to support the Digital team in producing high‑quality content distributed across CNBC.

You will explore business, economics and financial markets, write news and features, and help with social media while learning the fundamentals of journalism in a fast-paced newsroom.

This internship runs January to June and requires eligibility to work in Singapore with full‑time hours.

Qualifications

• University undergraduates majoring in business, economics, mass communication, media production, or similar.
• Must have the legal right to work in Singapore.
• Available for a full-time internship from January to June.
• Keen interest in business news, economics, and financial markets.
• Ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Fluency in English to write feature stories.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with colleagues in both Singapore and Europe to support research and production of digital articles.
• Pitch, report and write news and features stories for CNBC.com.
• Ingest articles from partner organizations into CNBC’s CMS as needed.
• Help Audience team produce social media posts to drive traffic.
• Collaborate with Singapore newsroom across TV, Features and Digital on joint projects.
• Clip videos from TV output for CNBC.com.
