Job summary

Northy Oaks Primary School in Singapore is seeking dedicated staff to assist with student supervision and development during school days in 2027. The role involves supporting behaviour management, detention sessions, and school events, while maintaining professional boundaries with students.

Applicants with relevant experience in primary schools and English O-Levels or a full Nitec qualification are preferred. Service experience in the police force may also be considered.

Qualifications

• At least two GCE O-Level passes, including English, or a completed full Nitec qualification, or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain firm, patient and professional boundaries with students are preferred.
• At least one year of student-engagement and management experience in a primary school is preferred.
• Applicants with Singapore Police Force service experience may also apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct area supervision and walkabouts to proactively support appropriate student behaviour and school safety.
• Assemble and supervise students during detention, reflection sessions and community service, maintaining an orderly and meaningful environment.
• Assist Key Personnel with incident management through preliminary conversations and compilation of relevant school records.
• Support school events and student-development programmes.
• Maintain professional boundaries and use supportive, restorative approaches in interactions with students.
• Perform other duties assigned by School Leaders or Key Personnel within stipulated working hours.
