Job summary

NASCANS PTE. LTD. invites applicants to join its student care team at Maris Stella High School Centre in Singapore. The role involves guiding primary school children aged 6–12, running daily activities, and supervising homework, under supervision of staff.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 11am–7pm, with training provided. The organisation offers a supportive team environment and opportunities for career progression within MOE-based centres.

Qualifications

• GCE O/N/L, A levels, NITEC or Diploma required or preferred.
• In-house training or sponsored certificate training provided if no relevant experience.
• Experience in student care or tutoring is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with primary school aged kids and staff to run daily activities.
• Facilitate activities according to timetable and supervise homework completion.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Support a positive, engaging learning environment after school hours.

About NASCANS

NASCANS is a leading student care and kindergarten care brand established in 2006, with over 30 centres across Singapore. We provide an "Oasis Between School and Home" through quality care, holistic development and meaningful learning experiences for children.

What You'll Do:

• You will be working closely with primary school aged kids and other facility members and staff
• Facilitate and execute daily activities in accordance to timetable
• Provide care and guidance to a group of students aged between 6 - 12 and supervise the completion of homework assignments from school or in house prepared materials
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure safety and security protocols are met at all times
• Working hours are From Mon to Fri between 11am and 7pm
• Locations are easily accessible by Bus/MRT
• Working Location: Maris Stella High Student Care Centre (Primary)

Who We're Looking For:

• Completed GCE 'O' (3 credit passed including a pass in English) / GCE 'N' Level, 'A' Level, NITEC or Diploma
• In-house Training or Sponsored Certificate Training will be provided if without relevant experience upon confirmation.
• Working experience in student care or tutoring is advantageous
• Keen passion to mentor, guide and engage children with dedication
• Friendly and cheerful with good interpersonal and communication skills
