Job summary

CANOSSAVILLE CHILDREN AND COMMUNITY SERVICES seeks a Student Care Facilitator to create a safe, engaging learning environment, manage classroom behaviour, and maintain detailed records. The role emphasizes collaboration with staff and active parent engagement to support students’ growth.

The ideal candidate holds an ITE Certificate, with teaching qualification preferred or 1 year of related experience in a Student Care Centre, plus WSQ training.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement - ITE Certificate.
• Preferably with teaching qualification or at least 1 year of relevant experience as a Student Care Facilitator/Teacher in a Student Care Centre.
• Completion of WSQ Introductory Student Care Course offered by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
• Experience working with children aged 7 to 14.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, stimulating learning environment in the classroom.
• Establish clear expectations for behaviour and enforce them.
• Foster inclusive student care environments for varied abilities.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents.
• Plan and adapt daily activities and manage schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities, and incidents.
