Job summary

SINGAPORE HOKKIEN HUAY KUAN CULTURAL ACADEMY PTE LTD is seeking a capable Operations Lead to oversee the After School Care Centre on Sennett Road. You will manage a team, ensure a safe and engaging environment, and drive bilingual English-Chinese programming for students.

You will inspire interest in Chinese language and culture through activities, plan enrichment and holiday programmes, and maintain strong relationships with students and parents while supporting homework and character

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading a team in student care, enrichment, preschool, or a service business, with hands-on operational experience.
• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Warm and approachable with children and parents, and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Someone who appreciates the Chinese language and is passionate about sharing it with the younger generation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of our After School Care Centre at Sennett Road, creating a safe, caring and engaging environment for students.
• Lead and support the teaching team in delivering bilingual programmes in English and Chinese.
• Inspire students’ interest in Chinese language and culture through engaging activities, games and enrichment programmes.
• Plan holiday programmes and student enrichment activities.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents, keeping parents updated on their child’s progress and centre activities.
• Support students in their homework, learning and character development.
• Manage key centre administration, including finance, GIRO and SCFA matters.
• Coordinate the smooth delivery of tuition, coding and NEA Environmental Sanitation (ES) programmes
