Job summary

CUROS LEARNING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to supervise primary school students after school, helping with meals, homework, enrichment and play.

You will guide homework and support the main teacher with classroom management, contributing to our holistic programmes both indoors and outdoors. Hours run 9:30am–7:00pm on school terms, Monday to Friday; during MOE holidays shifts are 7am–7pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'A' Level, Nitec or Diploma; undergraduates welcome.
• Able to guide primary school subjects from P1 to P6.
• Warm with children and firm when needed.
• Steady during busy afternoons.
• No prior student care or teaching experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Care for and supervise primary school students after school: meals, homework, enrichment and play.
• Coach students through homework so it is genuinely understood and completed before they go home.
• Support the main teacher with classroom management and maintain a calm, safe environment.
• Help run holistic programmes, indoors and outdoors.
• Accompany students on the school bus and manage safe handover at dismissal.
