The candidate will perform calculations, create 3D models and drawings using CAD tools, and coordinate with architects, detailers, and contractors while conducting site inspections to verify adherence to

designs safe, durable physical structures and analyzes how they withstand internal and external loads
“Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability and safety of steel structures.”
Utilize advanced software (such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla, or SAP2000) to create 3D simulations and review detailed fabrication and construction drawings
Select appropriate steel grades and structural profiles, ensuring designs meet local and international standards like AISC, IS codes, or Eurocodes
Coordinate with architects, detailers, vendors, and project managers to integrate structural systems and resolve site queries
Conduct field checks and structural assessments during construction to verify alignment with blueprints and quality standards
Design & Calculation: Compute loads, stresses, and strains for foundations, beams, walls, and columns.
Material Selection: Choose safe, cost-effective construction materials like concrete, steel, and timber.
Blueprints & CAD: Create technical drawings and run simulations using AutoCAD or other modeling software.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all plans match local building codes, legal rules, and safety standards.
Site Inspections: Visit active construction sites or damaged buildings to check work quality and structural soundness.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and contractors to deliver projects safely
