Job summary

Mott MacDonald Singapore is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join the Building Structures team. You will support the detailed design and calculations for civil and structural projects, and contribute to technical reporting while being enrolled in our three-year Graduate Program.

The role offers rotational opportunities regionally, mentorship from senior engineers, and a clear pathway to professional accreditation as you develop design, collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Interest in pursuing structural design engineering in consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, outline and carry out detailed design of civil and structural engineering designs and calculations.
• Prepare method statement and engineering proposal
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and authority organisations.
• Visiting construction sites to carry out site inspection and site supervision
• Coordinate with various parties (team members, clients, government authorities) on design and stakeholder interface.
• Liaising and working together within the project team of engineers and drafters
• Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.

Mott MacDonald Singapore is currently recruiting a Structural Engineer (Graduate) to work in our Building Structures team. Within this role you will support the detailed design of civil & structural engineering and calculations, technical reporting, and support engineering tasks across a wide range of award-winning building projects. These projects include Changi Airport Terminal 5, civic and institutional projects, commercial and mixed-use developments. We are dedicated to delivering large infrastructure projects, to make a positive change for those who need it most.
