Job summary

Mott MacDonald Group in Singapore is offering a Structural Engineer - Intern position for Jan 2027 to May 2027 (20 weeks). You will join a multi-disciplinary Transport market team to gain hands-on experience in engineering analysis and project design.

The internship provides exposure to BIM tools, collaboration across disciplines and the chance to work on aviation, institutional, and commercial building projects in a global consultancy.

Qualifications

• 3rd year Civil Engineering student.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Python or Excel VBA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Engineering analysis, design and calculations.
• Work on building projects (aviation, mixed-use, institutional, commercial).
• Using BIM tools and engineering analysis software (ETABS, Prokon, SAP2000).
• Coordinate with and between disciplines.

You will be part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team and your job description includes:

• Engineering analysis, design and preparation of calculations.
• Working on building projects (aviation, mixed-use developments, instituitional, commercial etc).
• Being involved with BIM tools and automated designs on engineering analysis software (for eg ETABS, ProKon, SAP2000 etc).
• Coordinating with and between disciplines

About You

• 3rd year student, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Good interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
• Good team player with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of technical software & coding applications
  (for eg Python, Excel VBA etc) is an advantage
