Job summary

Internsg is offering an on-site Project Engineer Intern role in Singapore, providing hands-on exposure to planning, coordination and execution of civil and structural works under a main contractor environment.

You will work closely with project engineers and managers, review drawings, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and document progress while learning site operations and project management fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of construction drawings and civil/structural works.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office is an advantage.
• Willing to learn and gain hands-on experience on a construction site.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to commit to the internship period.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer/Manager in coordinating and monitoring Civil & Structural works on site.
• Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams on technical and construction matters.
• Assist in monitoring site progress to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Participate in site inspections and assist in resolving technical and coordination issues.
• Assist in preparing method statements, technical submissions, progress reports and other project documentation.
• Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with project requirements and relevant safety standards.
• Attend project/site coordination meetings and assist with follow-up actions.
• Maintain proper records of site activities, drawings, inspections and project documentation.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Engineer/Manager.
