Job summary

H Y ENGINEERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to design, analyse and supervise building and infrastructure works in Singapore, ensuring compliance with local regulations and codes.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and authorities to deliver safe, efficient projects. Your role involves performing RC, steel and composite design, producing calculations and reports, reviewing shop drawings, and coordinating with BCA/LTA/PUB submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; PE registration in Singapore or eligible preferred
• 2–4 years design experience; Singapore project background strong advantage
• Proficient in structural analysis software & BIM/CAD tools
• Sound knowledge of Singapore Building Regulations, Eurocodes & industry standards
• Detail-minded, good communicator, able to coordinate multi-stakeholder workflows

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis & design: RC, steel, composite structures using SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE
• Produce calculations, design reports & specs aligned with SS, Eurocodes & BCAR
• Review contractor submittals & shop drawings; conduct site inspections & quality checks
• Coordinate BCA/LTA/PUB submissions; resolve site technical issues
• Support project progress, approvals & defect resolution
