Job summary

Eversendai in Singapore is seeking a structural engineer to design and check major structural members and steel connections. You will use Staad Pro, Etabs, and Idea Statica to ensure code-compliant designs for high-rise and commercial projects, coordinating with clients, consultants, and fabrication teams.

You will also prepare design spreadsheets, drawings, and erection-related documents, while assisting tendering with structural analysis and deployment of erection strategies.

Qualifications

• Design and detailing of structural members per codes.
• Steel and embedment connections using manuals and Idea Statica.
• Prepare spreadsheets for design per Singapore and Euro codes.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, site and fabrication teams.
• Check engineering drawings and prepare design documents.
• Coordinate with back office and Singapore design team.
• Prepare queries and RFIs for project clarifications.
• Erection engineering concepts and design.
• Prepare erection method statements.
• Perform local concrete checks and provide technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Structural member design (Main Design).
• Structural steel / embedment connection design - Manual & Idea Statica.
• Spreadsheet preparation and design (As per Singapore & Euro Codes).
• Coordinate with client / consultant / site / fabrication team.
• Engineering drawings checking & design documents preparation.
• Coordinate with back office / Singapore design team.
• Preparing queries and RFIs.
• Erection engineering concept, analysis and design.
• Erection method statement.
• Local concrete checks.
• Providing technical solutions and advise site / fabrication team.
