Job summary

foodpanda, part of Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a Workforce Planning Manager to own workforce and personnel-cost planning across a multi-market scope. You will lead planning cycles, challenge assumptions, and translate data into clear scenarios and recommendations for business decisions.

You will collaborate with People, Finance, and stakeholders to strengthen planning standards, data quality, and alignment between People and Finance. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in workforce planning, HR controlling, FP&A, or similar analytical roles.
• Experience running planning across multi-market scopes with data-driven decisions.
• Strong knowledge of headcount, budgeting and P&L analysis.
• Hands-on with Anaplan or similar enterprise planning platforms.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets for large datasets.
• Ability to translate HR changes into financial impact and clear options.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without formal authority.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end workforce planning across annual budgets, forecasts and multi-year cycles.
• Lead planning discussions with People, Finance and stakeholders to align headcount and costs.
• Act as SME on workforce-planning standards covering positions, vacancies, hires, and restructurings.
• Manage workforce assumptions in Anaplan WFP and align with P&L with Finance.
• Own WFP-to-P&L reconciliations and resolve data or process issues.
• Lead monthly workforce performance reviews explaining variances and risks.
• Develop scenarios and sensitivities on growth, attrition, compensation, and productivity.
• Maintain workforce reports and dashboards across Anaplan, Workday/HRIS, Finance.
• Identify risks/dependencies and drive actions with deadlines.
• Lead process improvements for planning standards, controls, documentation, testing.
• Provide guidance and quality review to analysts.
