Job summary
DBS Bank is seeking an experienced Vice President of Site Reliability Engineering to lead the Data & Visualization Platform team in Singapore. The role focuses on architecture, observability, and scalable infrastructure for advanced data visualization suites in a regulated financial services environment.
You will drive foundational platform development, strategic modernization, and strong collaboration with cross-functional partners, while ensuring cost-efficient, secure, and reliable operations
Qualifications
- 16+ years of IT experience with strong data platforms
- 9+ years in Big Data, Monitoring, and Observability
- Proven experience leading large-scale data platform migrations
- Track record of cost-optimization in production environments
- Ability to align technical roadmaps with business objectives
Responsibilities
- Architect and operationalize enterprise-grade Big Data platforms.
- Manage data visualization tools (Trino, Superset, Tableau, Celerity) for LOBs.
- Lead migrations to containerized, cloud-native environments (OpenShift, GCP, AWS).
- Streamline CI/CD pipelines for faster deployment and efficiency.
- Implement unified monitoring and logging (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) for end-to-end visibility.
- Drive capacity planning and cloud cost-optimisation.
- Mentor teams and drive SRE/DevOps best practices across the platform.
- Ensure compliance, security, and governance in production.
