Job summary

Chong Fong Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop and implement sales strategies, driving growth and promoting engineering products and services to general equipment, marine, offshore, oil & gas, and aerospace MRO sectors.

You will identify opportunities, manage accounts, negotiate terms, coordinate with internal teams for project delivery, and provide after-sales support to build lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years in technical sales, business development, or project engineering.
• Experience in marine, shipbuilding, offshore, oil & gas, or aerospace MRO.
• Familiarity with offshore industry requirements and established customer networks.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and CRM skills.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own vehicle for business-related travel.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
• Market and promote engineering products and services to customers in the general equipment, marine, offshore, oil & gas and aerospace MRO industries.
• Identify new business opportunities, acquire new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Manage customer accounts, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and prepare quotations and sales proposals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to identify business opportunities.
• Oversee project follow-ups and provide after-sales support to maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates and performance reports for management.
