Job summary

SGX Group in Singapore is seeking a Technical Product Owner for AI & Automation to drive initiatives from problem definition to production outcomes with an evidence-based approach. You will partner with the Business Owner to translate user problems into measurable product outcomes by shaping scope, providing clarity to engineering teams, making trade-offs, and driving decisions rather than escalating them.

You won't write production code, but you'll be technical enough to challenge engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in product management or related roles with significant product responsibility.
• Able to read code, APIs and data flows, and participate in architecture discussions with senior engineers.
• Hands-on AI experience using agents to prototype, specify, and validate in product work.
• Strong product instincts with data-driven decision making and scope discipline.
• Excellent communication across business and technology teams at all levels.
• Builder mindset with ability to adapt to evolving SDLC practices.
• Comfort operating in complex, regulated multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of domain products and contribute to long-term technology roadmaps.
• Co-own the product roadmap with the Business Owner and prioritize features based on impact and feasibility.
• Produce requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and AI-assisted specs in partnership with stakeholders.
• Communicate direction, metrics, and progress to stakeholders at all levels and manage expectations.
