Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Material Planning Associate to support global supply fulfillment and inventory management.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Engineering, and suppliers to ensure timely material availability and optimal stock levels. In this entry-level role (0–1 year), you will contribute to forecast management, supplier performance, and data-driven improvements using Power BI and other analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, material planning, inventory management, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience with data visualization, reporting, or analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate, and AI-enabled tools to improve ISM productivity.
• Strong communication and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize inventory replenishment models and supply execution strategies.
• Support forecast management, MRP, buffer stock reviews, lead time maintenance, and inventory health.
• Publish material forecasts, manage supplier commitments, monitor forecast accuracy.
• Manage inventory scheduling, delivery execution, and order adjustments with suppliers.
• Expedite and escalate delivery risks or supply constraints as needed.
• Identify, address, and resolve material shortages including root cause analysis.
• Support obsolescence management and inventory optimization.
