Job summary

Lumilens, a startup building critical photonics infrastructure, seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing strategy and end-to-end supply chain management for optical components. You will own supplier qualification, negotiation, and relationship management across a global supply base while ensuring capacity, lead times, and allocations align with ramp plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of sourcing/procurement and supply chain experience.
• Proven track record negotiating supply agreements and managing supplier relationships across Asia and other global regions.
• Excellent analytical and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into scalable supply chain strategies.
• Lead supplier qualification activities with engineering and quality teams.
• Negotiate pricing, capacity commitments, and supply agreements with optics/photonics suppliers.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks across long-lead components.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program management to align product needs with supply plans.
• Develop and manage supply plans balancing demand forecasts and manufacturing capacity.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain risk dashboards.
