Job summary

Lumilens, a hardware startup in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead material and supply planning for prototypes through pilot builds. You will translate engineering plans into material requirements, coordinate sourcing, and manage risk across development stages.

The role includes ensuring BOM readiness, tracking procurement, and maintaining inventory alignment with build schedules while collaborating with CM partners and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in supply chain planning, material planning or MRP execution in electronics/hardware manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating across multiple sites with suppliers and CM partners to keep build schedules on track.
• Hands-on with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and strong Excel/data skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering build plans into material requirements and procurement plans for prototype and pilot builds.
• Ensure BOM readiness and component sourcing ahead of build milestones.
• Identify long-lead components and supply risks early in the development cycle.
• Track procurement of equipment, tooling, and test equipment for each building phase.
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and material consumption across development builds.
• Support a smooth handoff of material plans from development into production planning.
• Flag potential shortages or disruptions to leadership.
• Provide regular supply readiness updates to cross-functional leadership.
