Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a proactive procurement specialist to identify, onboard and manage suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness and reliable supply chains.

You will lead end-to-end procurement activities from RFQ to PO, collaborate with internal teams, negotiate terms, and drive timely deliveries while maintaining records and supporting audits and continuous improvement. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP are advantageous

Qualifications

• Diploma in supply chain management, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Excellent communication, organizational, follow up abilities and analytical skills
• Ability to work in manufacturing and fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure favourable terms and ensure supply continuity.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and risk assessments.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from request for quotation (RFQ) to purchase order issuance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define procurement needs and timelines.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods/services and resolve any supply or quality issues.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead time and payment terms to achieve cost savings and minimize risk.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and generate procurement reports for management.
• Support audit processes and documentation requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization across the procurement function.
