Job summary

Rockwell Automation Asia Pacific Business Center Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Strategic Sourcing professional in Singapore to drive regional and global supply chain projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will interface with suppliers, manage cost reduction initiatives, and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery. The role requires 5+ years in sourcing/procurement, knowledge of SAP, and strong negotiation and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or engineering.
Proficiency in cost analysis, contract negotiation, supplier quality management, and ERP systems (SAP).
Strong communication skills (English plus another language) and ability to work in a global, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing and Negotiation: Drafts commercial contracts for cost reduction projects; leads contract negotiations and reviews with suppliers.
Drive for Delivery: Coordinates supplier delivery performance and solves shortages; aligns finished goods delivery with buyers.
Cost Reduction & Optimization: Leads VA/VE projects; captures cost reduction opportunities with R&D and engineering.
Implementation of Productivity: Tracks ECNs/SCNs/TGDs and ensures vendor savings realization.
Risk Mitigation & Sustainability: Monitors supplier risk for continuity and tool renewal impacts.
Supplier Performance Management: Works with supplier quality to resolve issues and recover COPQ.
Special Projects and NPI project management: Manages commercial analysis for NPI and special supplier projects.
