Job summary

ONE SEVEN CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Strategic Sourcing Manager in Singapore. You will work at the intersection of procurement, technical sourcing and commercial support, building an efficient, scalable operation with vendors, customers and internal teams.

You will manage supplier relationships, prepare technical quotations and support pricing strategies across seals, gaskets, bearings and other engineered components, while negotiating terms to optimise cost and delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, technical sales, sales support, quoting or related industrial environment.
• Experience with industrial products, engineered components, manufacturing, MRO or technical equipment is advantageous.
• Comfortable interpreting engineering specifications, technical data and product requirements.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with ability to assess pricing and identify sourcing opportunities.
• Confident managing vendor relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, able to work with Sales, suppliers and customers.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin or other regional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and manage vendor and supplier relationships across the region.
• Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities to improve cost, quality, lead times and product availability.
• Prepare and manage technical quotations for industrial and engineered products, including seals, gaskets, bearings and related components.
• Interpret engineering specifications, drawings, technical data and customer requirements to identify suitable products and sourcing solutions.
• Work closely with the Sales team on pricing strategy, customer requirements, quotations and commercial coordination.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Optimise purchasing, inventory levels and supplier lead times to support efficient operations.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues relating to quality, delivery, pricing and availability.
• Support development of efficient procurement and operational processes as the Singapore business grows.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and other stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and commercially.
• Contribute to building a resilient and scalable supplier network across Singapore and the wider Asia region.

What We're Looking For
