Responsibilities

• Drive business growth and build a network to attract new clients and research market opportunities.
• Secure new business and maintain repeat customers to sell all products.
• Research and identify new business opportunities – markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services.
• Identify and engage with potential partners, authorities, industry stakeholders and key decision makers.
• Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
• Monitor competition by gathering market intelligence and trends, and adjust positioning, services and pricing.
• Cultivate, engage and manage existing customer accounts to secure contract renewals.
• Understand customer needs and respond with plans to meet them.
• Think strategically and set aims to develop and improve the business.
• Plan operational changes and prepare sales contracts, following up to ascertain requirements.
• Discuss promotional strategy with the marketing department and liaise with finance and logistics teams.
• Seek ways to improve the way the business operates.
