Job summary

MITTRI ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, prepare tender and contract documents, perform quantity take-offs, and support financial administration for ERSS works and construction projects in Singapore.

You will prepare measurements and cost estimates, evaluate tenders, monitor costs, and liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure timely, accurate final accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with contractor interactions.
• Knowledge of piling works.
• Senior-level candidates may be considered for a more senior role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates for ERSS works projects from initial calculations through to final accounts
• Prepare tender and contract documents compliant with relevant regulations and standards
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and negotiate terms to secure favorable outcomes
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for project and tender submissions
• Conduct cost analysis and monitor project costs to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Assess progress payments and variation works for clients and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow
• Liaise with clients, management, and subcontractors to monitor progress of main and subcontract works
• Track project progress and handle measurement and valuation of variations for interim payments and final accounts
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures
