Job summary

IAQ Group is seeking a Procurement professional in Singapore to manage end-to-end purchasing, ensuring timely delivery and quality of materials. You will liaise with suppliers and internal teams to optimize procurement operations and support project requirements.

Responsibilities include handling sourcing, RFQs, POs, shipping coordination, and delivery follow-up, with a focus on cost efficiency and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in procurement documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal departments to coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet site schedules.
• Interact with suppliers to resolve quality issues and manage return-to-vendor processes.
• Manage the full purchasing cycle including sourcing, RFQs, PO issuance, shipping coordination and delivery follow-up.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders ensuring accuracy and timely execution to meet project timelines.
• Address supplier capacity and material issues impacting supply continuity.
• Collaborate with vendors to schedule delivery and equipment pickup efficiently.
• Coordinate with vendors, forwarders and warehouses to ensure smooth shipment flow at optimal costs.
• Propose and implement improvements to purchasing and planning procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct annual supplier evaluations and identify new suppliers when current vendors are non-competitive.
• Review purchase requisitions for compliance before processing POs.
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to negotiate favorable terms.
