Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, SCM, Logistics or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in buying and production planning.
Proficient with SAP; advanced Excel skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

Purchase direct materials, components and equipment as driven by MRP or Re-order Point systems.
Review planning reports to ensure timely material availability for production.
Drive gross margin improvements through supplier negotiations and cost optimization.
Reduce inventory and lead times by improving supplier cycle time and hedge/VMI strategies.
Ensure timely PO execution and address supplier quality/capacity issues.
Communicate with suppliers on delivery timing; participate in supplier business reviews.
