Job summary

HONG AIK ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Purchaser in Singapore to manage procurement of materials, equipment and services for projects and operations. You will source suppliers, issue purchase orders, and monitor delivery to support timelines.

Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, maintaining vendor records, ensuring regulatory compliance and cost efficiency while sustaining quality and reliable supply chains for the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing and evaluating suppliers.
• Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Familiarity with procurement records and audits.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost.
• Maintain updated vendor records and approved supplier lists.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Ensure timely procurement of goods and services to meet operational needs.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Cover purchasing requirements for soil disposal works and lorry parts, in addition to general procurement duties.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, budget approvals, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and invoices for audit purposes.
• Liaise with internal departments to understand requirements and specifications.
• Monitor expenditures against budget allocations.
