S & D Contractor Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, organize and oversee construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, and suppliers on multiple sites. The successful candidate will drive safety, manage contracts and documentation, prepare schedules, monitor cost performance, and lead the project team to achieve high customer

• Plan, organize and carry out project management activities to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget and to meet quality targets.
• Ensure safety procedures are incorporated in all project activities and promote a safe working culture.
• Review contract documentation with B.Q., SOR and material specifications.
• Manage the profit and loss of the project.
• Plan for site mobilization and work execution.
• Prepare work schedules and master programs with relevant parties.
• Ensure progress reports are prepared and submitted timely.
• Monitor project costs and aim for desired profit margins through cost control.
• Ensure project performance through regular site supervision and progress checks.
• Ensure shop drawings are completed and submissions to authorities are timely with drafting dept and external parties.
• Attend and chair project kick-off, daily and progress meetings with clients, consultants and other parties.
• Undertake role as chairman for project safety committee.
• Approve risk assessments and permits to work.
• Perform all safety related roles as mandated by law.
• Update and summarize project development performance in monthly management meetings.
• Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors on contractual and work matters.
• Ensure timely responses to consultants and other requests.
• Provide leadership to team members through coaching and mentoring to foster teamwork.
• Ensure all project documentation is maintained effectively including emails.
• Set key performance indicators for project team members, tracking, monitoring, and assessing their performance on an ongoing basis.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.
