Job summary

YEW SENG HENG ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a procurement professional in Singapore to manage the full procurement cycle and material purchases for the company. You will build strong supplier relationships, evaluate new suppliers, and negotiate prices and terms to achieve best value.

The role requires 2–3 years of purchasing experience in construction or related industries, with strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in SCM, Business, Engineering preferred.
2–3 years purchasing experience in construction or related industries highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
Proficient in Excel for procurement tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with sourcing suppliers online and conducting market research independently.

Responsibilities

Manage full procurement cycle and material purchases for the company.
Build strong supplier relationships and explore new potential suppliers.
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to obtain best value.
Conduct price comparisons and monitor new products, materials, and trends.
Maintain supplier lists, price lists, and all procurement records.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
Ensure all PO and RFQ documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
Work with site teams and project managers to align material requests with project requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations.
