Job summary

Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced procurement negotiator to lead large-scale negotiations and design game-theory based strategies. The role involves preparing awards, running negotiation weeks, and training teams to enhance negotiation effectiveness.

The candidate should combine strong analytical, project management and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset and fluent English, enabling monetarized cost comparisons across suppliers.

Qualifications

• A degree in economics, mathematics, engineering, business administration, or similar field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in procurement and/or consulting with a focus on procurement.
• Extensive negotiation experience in large-scale projects covering negotiations with a diverse range of boundary conditions.
• Knowledge of game theory and extensive experience in conducting game theory-based negotiations.
• Experience in conducting large-scale negotiation events, "negotiation weeks," is an advantage.
• Experience in conducting (negotiation) trainings.
• Very good analytical skills, project management skills, and communication skills.
• A solution-oriented and service-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult Procurement's negotiators to prepare large-scale project awards and annual price negotiations employing innovative methodologies such as game theory.
• Drive large-scale negotiation events (negotiation weeks).
• Develop frameworks and materials for negotiation preparation.
• Create and conduct negotiation trainings.
• Enable Procurement to monetize total-cost-of-ownership through monetarized comparisons of suppliers.
• Prepare negotiation results for reporting.
